The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
